Hello Friends! Things are crazy here at Covered Waters. We have been busy sifting through all of the nominations for the car and figuring out how we can best serve families. We sat down and read through well over 100 nominations our hearts were truly broken. We want to help. We want to help everyone. And we know that is not possible. So we will continue to do our best to help those we can. We finally had a list of three finalist and went through several ways we could help all three of those families. We came up with a plan! We decided to fix two vehicles AND give away one! We did pick a nominated individual for the car and they have been notified. Next month we will give you more information about that but we are excited that we get to significantly change the life of a family here in Fremont. A family that has seen their far share of hard things the past year or two AND despite all of that they have been giving back to the community! They will receive the vehicle on Saturday! We need your help in fixing the other two vehicles and are wanting to raise $1000 to cover the costs (we have a mechanic willing to donate his time).
