Hello Everyone! The last month has been super eventful. It has all been great and necessary stuff but nothing that would make you, our newsletter reader, go WOW! So, just know we have been working hard on getting more and more things set up, grants written, prayers sent, paperwork sent in, and lots of google searches. I have a feeling we will have lots of exciting stuff to share with you over the next couple months! Here are a couple noteworthy things:
- We are running a Mothers Day shirt sale for the next 5 days, see details below!
- We have been busy making fun and important connections with people around our community.
- More and more frequently we are hearing stories about how the services we are providing are much needed in our area. We found out the domestic violence shelter is no longer taking people in. We get asked frequently if we can take a young mom in our program now. We do what we can now but we are so excited and nervous to see how God uses this ministry in the future.
- Bailey is going to be representing Covered Waters on a local radio station on April 20th at 8am. If you want to listen and are not local, I think you can listen here: https://www.thebestmix1055.com
- May 9th is a big day! In Fremont they have a big ol giving day for non profits. We are hoping to receive many donations that day. Would you give?
