Hello Friends! We have been a little silent the first part of this year, but we haven’t disappeared! The opposite really, we have been working on stuff that isn’t super exciting to write newsletters about ;) 2024 may look a little bit different then we had intended, for many reasons… but the main one is that we haven’t raised as much money as we had hoped. So we are focusing 2024 on two very big things…
1. Grants and Fundraising
2. Community connections and support - this means finding out how the community can rally around CW and how we can support the community with resources and help. Nothing has changed with our goals. Actually, now more than ever the need for what God has placed on our hearts is evident. And we know that God is moving in our lives and in Covered Waters. We are living by faith. Next month we will have more information to share with you about things going on… our fall festival date… and all the other things. But for now, we love each one of you and ask for your prayers as we continue to do this thing! Fundraising and Grants are not what we enjoy BUT it will lead us to being able to see change in our community! Thank you for all you do for us! Tina, Bailey and Katie
